Dal Bati with Art of Aata

Ingredients (for bati):

  • 2 cups Art of Aata multigrain flour
  • 2 tbsp semolina (optional, for crispiness)
  • 2 tbsp ghee
  • ½ tsp ajwain (carom seeds)
  • Salt to taste
  • Warm water (to knead)

Method:

  • Mix flour, semolina, ghee, ajwain, and salt.
  • Knead into a firm dough with warm water. Rest for 15 minutes.
  • Shape into lemon-sized balls. Bake or roast in a bati oven/OTG until golden.
  • Dip hot batis in ghee.
  • Serve with piping hot dal and a side of chutney.
